The Compound collects as little as it can. The simulators run in your browser and nothing you type into them leaves your device.
Who we are
The Compound is an educational publication by QuestEbooks, available at learntocompound.com. For any privacy question, write to questebooks@gmail.com.
What we collect
Simulator inputs: none. Balances, rates and goals you enter are calculated in your browser and are not sent to us or stored on a server.
Messages: if you contact us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply.
Purchases: payments for the ebook are processed by PayPal, which collects your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order record so we can deliver the book and handle refunds. We never see your card number.
Basic server logs: our hosting provider may record IP addresses and pages requested for security and uptime. These are kept for a short period and not used to identify you.
What we do not do
We do not run advertising, sell or rent personal data, or share it with anyone except the service providers needed to host the site, process payments and send email.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. PayPal may set cookies needed to complete checkout.
Children
The Compound is written for readers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Write to questebooks@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
